This policy explains how GenLoop handles information during its closed beta. The beta is intended for adults age 18 and older.
Information we collect
- Beta application data, including your name, email address, social handle, iPhone and iOS version, creator profile, tools you use, what you want to create, and campaign or referral source.
- Account data, including your email address or phone number, username, display name, profile details, and authentication records.
- Creation data, including prompts, model and control choices, uploaded reference media, generation jobs, drafts, generated media, posts, comments, likes, follows, reports, and direct messages.
- Beta usage data, including sessions, feature actions, generation outcomes, sharing or export actions, feedback, support requests, and basic device or error context.
- Credit records, including grants, reservations, refunds, and balances. The beta does not process user payments.
How we use information
We use information to review and contact beta applicants, operate and secure GenLoop, provide AI generation, maintain balances, display social features, moderate content, answer support requests, diagnose failures, attribute beta acquisition, and evaluate the closed beta. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers
GenLoop uses service providers to deliver the beta, including Supabase for authentication, databases, functions, and storage; fal.ai and model providers for AI generation; Expo and Apple for app distribution and updates; and Resend for authentication email delivery. Data sent to these providers is limited to what is needed for the relevant service and is also governed by their terms and policies.
Public and private content
Posts, profile information, comments, and engagement on the social feed may be visible to other testers. Drafts and direct messages are not public. Reports are visible to the reporting user and authorized GenLoop moderators.
Retention and deletion
We may retain beta applications for up to 12 months to administer early access and evaluate interest. We retain account data while your account is active and as needed to operate, secure, and evaluate the beta. You can permanently delete your account in GenLoop under Settings, Account. Account deletion removes your profile and associated user content from the active service. Limited records may remain temporarily in backups or where retention is required for security or legal reasons.
Your choices
You can edit profile details, delete drafts and posts, delete direct messages from your own view, block users, report content, and delete your account in the app. Applicants may request removal of their application through the communication used for beta selection. You can stop participating by uninstalling the app, but uninstalling alone does not delete your account.
Security and changes
We use access controls and encrypted service connections, but no beta service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as GenLoop changes. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date.
